Potty training: the early days
Jason is doing better and better now. But it has been a long and difficult task to get him potty trained.
In the beginning, we read all the articles and books we could find and we read that it was helpful to let him watch us going to the bathroom.
So one day, I was in the kitchen while I suddenly hear a loud scream of excitement from the bathroom.
"Let me see daddy, let me see.... YOU DID IT, DADDY! Great! You get a sticker!"

Potty Surprises
Since Jason has been potty training, he always liked to describe his accomplishments.
I remember when one of the first times he announced very proudly "Mommy, look! A big one, a small one and a medium sized one!".
Today again, he felt the urge to give me a graphical description when he showed me the potty and said: "Look mommy, an ice cream caca!"
Hmmm. After that, I handed him the toilet paper since he had to clean up all by himself now.
He took the toilet paper. Looked at me a little bit puzzled, turned around as if he wanted to see if he was really dirty and then he said with a sigh. "Never mind!".

Jason was playing on his own.
He was standing on a chair and seemed to be addressing an imaginary crowd while he declared "hi, ewibody! This is Jason's home! I live here...".
